Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  We decided to create this to support all the great people who are participating in our event, and increase the circulation to increase the donations for this really worthwhile charity.

An update now that most of the money has been collected in from everyone in the team - so far the total distributed to Help for Heroes is over £8,000 altogether, which is really fantastic!  This comes from a series of different JustGiving pages the team have uploaded, the face-to-face donations the team have painstakingly collected from so very many generous people, and the donations collected on the day itself.

So, many many thanks to everyone who has taken part, and everyone who has contributed their generous donations - we couldn't have done it without you all - and we didn't expect such a fantastic result!

To put you in the picture, Tim set up a team to take part in a Tandem Skydive event, at Skydive Weston near Bicester, on Saturday 12th September 2009.  He has promoted it vigorously through work, and encouraged his friends and colleagues to participate; all backed up by his enthusiasm for the sport which he loves, and also by his sympathy for the cause which is close to his heart from his army service history.  On this particular occasion, he is hoping to make a jump or two during the proceedings (while Meg will be groundcrew!) and although not doing a sponsored tandem jump ourselves, we didn't want to let people down by not getting some contributions to add to the "pot".
