I will be running in the Virgin Money London Marathon on the 23rd April to raise funds and awareness of the plight of Domestic Violence for The Carly Fund in partnership with Victim Support.

The Carly Fund is a charity that is very close to my heart and means so much to me.

Over three years ago I was lucky enough to meet a man at work that would change my life and give me the motivation to take on the biggest challenge of my life.

His name is Trevor Fairhurst, and along with his wife Sheila, their life was turned upside down over 10 years ago when their daughter Carly Fairhurst was murdered by her partner in a Domestic Violence incident.

These two special people never asked nor deserved any of the heartache that they have endured for some 10 years since Carly was tragically taken from them, but they fight on every day in Carly's memory, in the hope that their charity, The Carly Fund, can help others to break free from abusive relationships.

To date they have raised over £60,000 and with your help we can take that amount even further.
