Event: Morocco Trek: SeeAbility's 220 Birthday Challenge, from 12 October 2019 to 16 October 2019
We enable people with learning disabilities to challenge what they expect from life.

Story

Since losing my sight I have also lost my career, a business and many options for recreation.

I am one of many Visually Impaired/Blind people who have literally watched their world fade away .

I wasnt lucky enough to benefit from technologies , specially trained teachers or organisations like seeability.  I had to re-adjust , retrain and re-evaluate my life , directions and how I do most things.

Seeability give vi/blind children and those with learning difficulties the best start possible to become productive and independent members of society.

I'm taking up the charity trek challenge which will have me  trekking through Morocco (your donations go straight to seeability and do not fund my trek challenge .)

I will be well out of my comfort zone travelling to places that I have never been to do things I have never done with people that I have never met I am travelling without my family and friends on a voyage of self discovery, empowerment and growth.

Please help make this happen and help me support SeeAbility and the VI and Blind world.

About the charity

SeeAbility provides ambitious social care for people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss. We encourage them to challenge what they expect from life, from themselves and from wider society - and they in turn challenge us all to think about what’s possible, and to rethink disability.
