Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Tommy's JustGiving page.

Tommy Boyd, age 13, is attempting to break a Guinness World Record on Friday 9th December 2016 in proud memory of his grandfather Thomas Boyd, who sadly lost his battle against Leukaemia last year.

Tommy said: “It’s really important that I personally strive for excellence in everything that I do. I was very close to my Grandad and we are both passionate about football. I am attempting to raise £500.00 for the cancer charity Bloodwise and to make my Grandad proud through my football freestyle Guinness World Record challenge. Please be generous with your support to help us beat this horrible disease."

Matt Lawley, Head of Sports Events at Bloodwise, said: “We are constantly inspired by the stories of those fundraising for us and the dedication of our supporters like Tommy. Every penny raised for Bloodwise will help us in our mission to stop people dying and make patients’ lives better.”
