Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 21st of July I am taking part in the Wales in a Day Sportive, one of the longest single-day rides in existence. Not only is it - as they say in cycling - 'A Very Long Way', it also crosses three mountain ranges, the equivalent of cycling over half way up Everest from sea level. And of course, its 'in a day' which means I'm going to have to maintain a decent lick to prevent it from becoming 'Wales in a Few Days'. I'm doing this for the Miriam Hyman Memorial Trust, a charity dedicated to tolerance and forbearance which I believe is a beacon to us all. Please have a look at the charity link on this page. The money that you and I raise will help to fund 'Miriam's Vision', which carries a message of tolerance and understanding into the school classrooms of the UK. The MHMT has created a teaching package and learning tools which helps children from different faiths and different ethnicities look at the different cultures around them with curiosity and openness, rather than with fear and hatred. It represents a vision of mutual understanding, teaching kids that we're all the same, before they are indoctrinated to believe that we are different
