Hi All,

As you may or may not know, two years ago, I completed the challenge of cycling nearly 1000 miles from Lands End to John O Groats (LEJOG) in just nine days, for which I raised over £4000 online and £1000 in other donations.

After this effort , I took a break from cycling, but 4 months ago signed up to cycle Mizmal, which is 525 miles from Mizan Head to Malin Head, the length of Ireland in 6 days. This takes place on the 4th September to the 9th September – next week!! Although this does not appear as difficult as LEJOG, over the past two years, I have not really gone out on the bike and therefore will find it a tough challenge.

As many of you kindly sponsored me two years ago, I was reluctant to seek more sponsorship, given the many requests that people receive these days, and have not let people know about the trip. However, people have said that it is a wasted opportunity not to raise money for a good cause given the challenge involved. So therefore I have quickly opened up a Just Giving page again for Teenage Cancer Trust, in the hope that some people will again kindly donate.
