Hello and welcome to my JustGiving page.

I’m taking on what promises to be the toughest challenge of my life – a world record-breaking attempt to skydive onto the North Pole and swim beneath the Arctic ice cap – to raise funds for Combat Stress, the UK’s leading charity specialising in the care of veterans suffering mental ill-health.

In April, I will be joining a band of intrepid adventurers on the Above and Below challenge, a unique expedition that promises to put our courage and resilience to the test. Together, we aim to become the first team to parachute onto the Arctic ice sheet and complete a sub aqua dive in sub-zero waters during the same expedition.

All the money I raise will go towards the Combat Stress Enemy Within appeal, which aims to generate £30m to transform mental health services for veterans, increase awareness of their plight and encourage them to seek help sooner. As a former paratrooper who fought in the Falklands War, I have seen first hand the terrible impact of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder on former service personnel who fought for their country.
