The UNIGLOBE charity work continues......

23rd - 30th June - UNIGLOBE Camel Safari and Trek through the Nyeri Desert, Kenya

 Once again we are raising money for Plan International and the fantastic work they do for humanitarian projects around the world.

UNIGLOBE has supported Plan International for many years; with the first two campaigns, Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Machu Picchu raising over £70,000 for this worthwhile charity. 

Since we have undertook different kinds of adventures......In 2014 we undertook a London to Paris cycle ride and a Dover to London walk. And 2015 saw the feat of a 84km canoe trip over 12 hours in Sweden, a total race against time and tide. 2016 and 2017 saw a small but strong team take on the Prudential Ride London, cycling 100 miles around outskirts of London.

For Summer 2018 we will continue to support these humanitarian causes, ramping up the strength of our fundraising, with a 4 strong team, trekking across the Kenyan Nyiri Desert in gruelling temperatures starting on June 23rd 2018.

The team will trek over 150km in 6 days along a dried up river bed in very basic living and sanitation conditions, suffering the desert heat, African mosquitoes and any other creepy crawlies, desert animals and maybe even a lion or two. Let's hope they all make it back safely with all of their camels in tow also!
