Sadly, my father passed away after a prolonged illness on 14th July. He died peacefully at home with his family and was supported by nursing staff from Springhill Hospice. We are very grateful for their support which enabled his wishes to be carried out. 

Edmund’s links to the Lancashire Fusiliers, in which he served, and the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers were a very important part of his life. Although his military service ended in 1969 Edmund dedicated much of his time ensuring that the profile of the Regiment was maintained in the Northwest. Closest to his heart was the success of the Fusilier Museum, Bury where he was a trustee and Finance Director for over 20 years. Edmund has asked that his love and fondness of the museum is recognised through donations resulting from his passing.

Our family would like to pass on any donations made in his memory to Springhill Hospice and The Fusilier Museum, Bury.
