As most of you are aware my daughter Martha was born when I was 25 weeks pregnant at Southampton Hospital. During this confusing and worrying time, my partner and I were offered a room at the Ronald McDonald House at Southampton Hospital.

This phenomenal charity allowed us to stay on-site, rent free, so we could visit our premature and poorly baby. We don't know what we would have done without this accommodation. 

Fortunately Martha is now fit and well. By way of a small thank you, my sister and I have decided to undertake an abseiling event with the Ronald McDonald charity on Saturday 23rd June. We only found out this week that we could take part, as we were on a waiting list!

Surprisingly enough, we are not used to scaling down the side of buildings, so this is a big challenge for us. If you are able to donate anything, we would be over the moon!!
