As many of you know In August 2018 I lost my Dad to pancreatic cancer, just 3 weeks after his diagnosis which was a huge shock to myself and my whole family. 

Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, treat, research and is hard to survive. That’s why I am running on behalf of Pancreatic Cancer UK. .

Running the London Marathon is something that’s always been on my bucket list and it’s a great test of character and fitness and I know after all the time spent playing and watching sports with my Dad that he would have fully supported me in this next challenge. I embrace this amazing opportunity and would love to raise as much  money as possible for Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of my Dad. 

Pancreatic cancer is a tough one but we’re taking it on. It is tough to diagnose, tough to treat, tough to research and tough to survive.For too long this disease has been sidelined. We want to make sure that everyone affected by it gets all the help they need. We are supporting those affected by the disease, investing in ground breaking research, lobbying for greater recognition of pancreatic cancer and being a voice for everyone involved in the fight. Together we are taking on pancreatic cancer.
