We are fundraising for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research - a charity which undertakes clinical research into improving quality of life for the 40,000 people living with spinal cord injury in the UK.

For them being unable to walk is just another challenge to add to the many other difficulties they face on a daily basis. Complications such as pressure ulcers, urinary tract infections and nerve ending pain are a daily threat to their health and independence, making it hard to 'get on with life'. SMSR is tackling these day to day challenges through research to ensure that individual's with spinal cord injury have the best quality of life possible.

We're really looking forward to our Wheels At Work event. Not only is it a worthy cause, but it will also give us an insight into living with a spinal cord injury, as well as and other wheelchair users.
