We support the growing number of people in and around Milton Keynes affected by a life-limiting illness. We give our patients and their loved ones specialist, personalised care - free of charge. Only 13.8% of our costs are met by ongoing NHS funding, so we’re dependent on your support. Thank you.

Story

On 29 May 2014, 25 cyclists and 6 helpers set out from Aberystwyth on the Welsh Coast, to cycle back to Willen Hospice, here in Milton Keynes.  Over 3½ days we cycled 200 miles up and down the mountains in Wales, through the undulating Cotswolds and finishing through the Buckinghamshire countryside.

Our aim was to raise sufficient funds to pay for a Willen Hospice at Home nurse for half a year.  This nursing team provides practical and supporting nursing care to enable patients to stay at home where possible.  The team which offers specialist skills to patients in the community is based at the Hospice. With your help we have smashed the target but the more we raise the more we can contribute to such a great cause.

Willen Hospice is an inspiring place.
