Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are raising for Weldmar Hospicecare charity in memory of Adele and Danielles mum Yvonne. Yvonne so bravely fought Pancreatic Cancer while somehow still keeping her amazing sense of humour but she is greatly missed by all. Yvonne spent her final days with her precious girls beside her in this beautiful home in Dorchester. The warmth and love from her carers not only attended to Yvonnes every need but also supported Adele and Danielle with advice, love and cuddles whenever they were needed. These people really do go above and beyond their call of duty but as a charity they really need the help of outside funding, thats why we decided to do as much as we can to help.

Next August/September Adele and I have decided to take a 5 day trek in the Canadian Rockies with Weldmar to raise as much money as possible but we need your help. SO...

Over the next few months we will be holding as many events as we can to get the funds in, we would really appreciate your support in every way possible. Our events will be fun and as cheap as we can possibly make them, we will do our very best to involve our local based small companies too. We want to show everyone how fantastic Dorset is :) Please help us to help this fantastic charity

.....and please feel free to share

Weldmar Hospicecare needs to raise £26,000 a day to continue the specialist end of life care we provide in Dorset, both in the comfort of patient's own homes and at our IPU in Dorchester. 20% of our costs are met by the NHS, the rest comes from the generosity of our local community.
