Dear everyone,

Julien and Ward took up the challenge to run the London marathon in 2020 but Covid-19 decided differently and the event was postponed twice. Julien managed to run the marathon in October 2022 in a fantastic time of 3:04:39. Ward had some injuries (skiing accident resulting in torn knee ligaments) causing further delays but will participate on 21st April 2024.

We are running the London Marathon for a charity. The purpose is to collect funds for research with the ultimate objective to find a therapy to cure the Thallassaemia disease.
Julien's wife, Sabah Bandoui is a carrier of this hemoglobine disorder and her brother a patient who needs frequent blood transfusion and heavy medication with its risks and complications.

Therefore, we hope to collect as much funds as possible and we will be grateful from the bottom of our heart for any gesture you could have to help this cause.
