Warrior Hearts - Inspiring Hope Against Cancer

My name is Asma...

...And I want to tell you that we all have within us a “Warrior Heart”. This story, this journey, this life is not just about me, but it’s about all of us. 

It’s a journey about how we can all be ‘brave’ and ‘strong’ and yes ‘beautiful’ too when facing the many challenges that life may throw at us, which we sometimes feel we cannot overcome. 

Yes, I have cancer. And yes, it’s come back with a vengeance. But know with your help and my Creator I will not show fear or be defeated by despair. 

Instead, my “Warrior Heart” is made ‘strong’ and ‘brave’ with all that I hold close and all that I hold dear - my faith, my family and my friends. And moreover my ‘Warrior Heart’ is made more ‘beautiful’ when I feel ‘the lights of humanity’ upon me, shining warmth and providing me comfort with such pure kindness making me smile and sometimes making me cry a little with joy as well.

A Big Thank You

I cannot say a big “thank you” enough for all the love and support shown to me each day, from those who tirelessly care for me to the health professionals who are treating me. I know all of you are ‘sharing my journey’ through these, my challenging times. I also know also all of you are praying for me during these days and this gives me strength to lift my heavy head up high.

But as I said this is not just my story....

Support one another

I have come to appreciate that with the will of my Creator and with the help of others, we can break down walls, hold back the oceans and fly to the heavens. When we interlock our arms with each other to support one another, in the true spirit of humanity, we can inspire hope to fearlessly conquer and crush any and all adversity.

This is why I have also set up this page to raise much needed funds so we can do something inspirational and empowering, which if we are being totally honest with ourselves we don’t do enough of, that is, to help those most in need. 

So, I have chosen 4 projects I would like to raise funds for and I would like your generous help:-

1. To feed families in times of hunger and drought and raise money for a borehole water well in Ghana,

2. To create spaces to think about a higher meaning and give direction and purpose to our lives and raise money for a mosque and education centre and mechanical water system in Ghana,

3. To discover new knowledge and new science to cure and relieve pain and illness concerning cancer and provide support for cancer patients and raise money to deliver these ends,

4.  To give shelter to homeless and raise money for homeless children and families, here in the UK,

100% of all donations received will be distributed to the above 4 projects.

Warrior Hearts - Inspire Hope

In the end I do not know how my journey will end. Does anyone know how their journey will end? All I hope for and pray for, is that we live with dignity and we inspire hope to face any and all the challenges with the “Warrior Heart”. And when I or we are to depart from this world, when that time comes to breathe our very last, that we do so with those who loved us the most by our side.
