Mum's husband and our Dad was the most incredible, kind, generous and stubborn man.  He put up with (and probably played down) having a dickie heart for longer than we probably realise. 

He had moderate aortic stenosis which he managed but never had the chance to get fixed and (so it turns out) coronary heart disease.  Just when he seemed to be going in the right direction, he was taken away from us.

If we can raise some money and awareness that means fewer people will die from heart conditions such as these too soon, then Dad would smile.

Thank you for remembering the old fella and celebrating his life with us.  We will all miss him terribly.
