We are all going attempt a Golf Marathon at West Byfleet Golf Club on Sunday 23rd June. The Challenge consists of:

• Starting at 4:30 am
• 6 rounds of Medal Golf, 108 holes
• Walking the equivalent the Marathon distance, 26.2 miles (or 42 Kms) - at least!!
• Finishing sometime around Sunset, i.e. 9:00 pm

At the moment the weather forecast is looking good. Thanks to all the generous donations we have had so far, spread the word to friends and family, we are really motivated by your messages of support.

As you can see, we are raising funds for our Club Captains' Charity: 

• The Momentum Children’s Charity.

This Charity supports children with cancer and life-challenging conditions, and their families, who are receiving treatment at our local hospital, St Peter’s in Chertsey. They are a small, local charity and receive no government funding relying entirely on donations to carry out their vital work. Momentum Children’s Charity is currently offering intense support to 47 St Peter’s families, 34 of whom have a child going through treatment and 13 bereaved families who have recently lost a child. They offer tailored, practical and emotional help to the entire family through their unique family support programme. This can be delivered both at home and in hospital.
