It believes that the continued development of Africa, and its citizens is vital to the successful future of all nations and is therefore devoted to make a positive lasting change in the life and livelihood status of the African communities in Africa and UK.

Story

Globally, the World Health Organisation estimates that 10% of the world’s population have disabilities. Although reliable statistics are hard to come by, at least several thousand individuals with physical or psychological disabilities, are estimated to live in Somalia, Bosaso.

African Development Trust (ADT) have provided wheelchairs to individuals who are in desperate need of mobility which has made positive changes. Before ADT supplied these wheelchairs, some individuals may have been using a wheelbarrow to help with their mobility.

The cost of a single wheelchair costs £90, ADT would like to raise £1,800 with your help to provide 20 more wheelchairs.

Many of them are still in urgent need of your help; by donating you will be making the simple task of movement easier for many people with disabilities. We can ensure every penny goes towards this cause.

Your donation will significantly improve the lives of many individuals who require a wheelchair in Somalia.
