Young Minds - Run Free 1000 Mile Challenge
Fundraising for Young Minds Trust
Story
Hi!
We are a group of 20 individuals throughout the UK that have all come together for this great cause, In support of 'YoungMinds'.
We believe that the work carried out by the team at YoungMinds is vital to the youth of today as mental health has damaging effects to many people from such a young age. They also offer support to parents via the parent helpline and training to people employed within the profession.
We have set ourselves a target distance of 1000 miles to be reached between us, this means that each person will have to complete 50 miles and has 30 days in which to do this.
The name 'Young Minds - Run Free' is homage to the freedom in which this event is to be completed with regards to having a choice of how may miles to complete on which day. Also to the positive effects running or exercise in general has on your mental wellbeing.
