I will be doing the kilt walk on the 30th of April. The kilt walk is 23.6 miles from Glasgow to Loch Lomond and helps many Scots raise funds for any charity of their choice.

I have chosen to help raise funds for the British Lung Foundation as my mother suffers from a lung condition. Some people with lung conditions find that it can impact negatively on simple daily activities that many of us may take for granted.

As the event also falls under my mum's birthday, I felt it is only appropriate to dedicate the walk to her, her journey through life and to help those who also suffer from lung conditions within the UK.
