I've been involved in youth participation activism for the last 7 years. Hope for Children's mission - working around the goals of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child to ensure safe, happy and healthy childhoods - really resonates with what we were working for on the Children's Commissioner for Wales's Advisory Group and what I like to think I've been fighting for all this time.

Basically, Hope for Children are fighting against the worst impacts of poverty in kids' lives across the world, for every child to have a childhood, and it's something I really want to support (and if I have to fall to earth unceremoniously to do it, oh well.)
