Myself and a team will be traveling to Nepal for one reason only.
To remind those trapped in poverty that they are not forgotten!

This opportunity came up for me, to give up my time and join the team to help the deprived people in Nepal. We need to raise enough funds each in order to be able to be in the Chitwan Province by the 11th of November this 2010. 

Our AIM is to provide help to all those families and orphans who comb the streets for their livelihood and have no alternative means of living.

Poverty is one of the most pressing problems in Nepal. 48% of all children are classified as undernourished and only a very small percentage of the families have adequate housing facilities.

I and a team of 10 others will be immersed in the local culture for 14 days, helping families signed up to the project build homes to live in, under the umbrella of the 'Habitat for Humanity' organisation.

This will help cut down immediate health issues and provide safe and secure shelter for these homeless families with many young children.

The training provided will Inshallah enable these families to eventually become self-supportive and independent.

All of this will only be achievable, if we can raise sufficient funds from the good people in this world.

Whatever generosity you can spare, please spare it and become a part of this good deed.

This will help us to become that LARGE or SMALL step closer to our goal.
