Christmas appeal · 24 December 2015

It helps the relief of deaf people in Tanzania. Currently it is working with two organisations, Buguruni School for the Deaf, a primary school and UMIVITA, a small NGO, run by young deaf adults which provides advocacy and support services to deaf people in Dar es Salaam

Story

My name is Zoe Winsor, I am 6 years old and this year I surprised my parents by asking for nothing this Christmas.

Instead of gifts, I want the money to go to a special school in Africa for deaf children.  £120 pays for a child for a whole year, £20 gets the whole school of 275 children breakfast for a day.

In her own words "I have chosen to sponsor a child instead of having Christmas presents.  Help them too, please help them"

This has been written by her parents, who are amazed and very proud!
