Story
Hi, this Aaran and Anaiya. We are part of a team called Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five and we will be heading down to the Chiltern Pool in Amersham on 29 March to swim 1.5km in aid of Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie. We have close family relatives that have been affected by bowel cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer and ovarian cancer and we want to raise as much money as we can to find new and better treatments to fight against this disease. Please support us by donating any amount you can and feel free to come along on the day too. Thank you, Aaran and Anaiya.
On 27th - 29th March, over 21,000 swimmers will be heading to over 600 pools across the UK to raise money for two amazing charity partners, Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie - thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity challenge. Together we can really make a difference.
Cancer Research UK, the worlds leading cancer charity is dedicated to saving lives through research. They don't receive any government funding for their work, so their progress is all thanks to the support of people like you.
Marie Curie provides expert care, guidance and support for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. Around 2,100 Marie Curie Nurses work day and night, in peoples homes all over the UK, providing hands-on care to people when they need it most.
