Dear Friends and Family,
As you know, after a 10 year battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis that resulted in me losing 4 joints in my right ankle and foot, I have taken to cycling. In 2018 I completed the 100 miles of RideLondon. In June 2019 my next challenge will involve me heading out to Brussels to take part in the Grand Depart Classic, riding the whole of the first road stage of the 2019 Tour de France, the week before the pros. I’ve signed up to this for the challenge and to push my limits, in order to save men’s lives, but I need your help...
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. Every hour one man dies from prostate cancer – that's more than 10,800 men every year. 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime. Ignoring prostate cancer won't beat it. Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.Your donation will make an impact, so please see this as your chance to do something amazing. It could be the best thing you do today.Thank you.
