As many know, I sadly lost my dog Bella to cancer at the young age of 4. I wanted to do something to raise awareness into cancer in dogs and raise money to help develop research for cures and prevention. I have recently found the Animal Health Trust charity and fully support the work that they do.

Fighting cancer in companion animals has always been very high on the AHT's agenda and we continue to be the only UK charity with a dedicated cancer treatment centre and cancer research team. Our vets and scientists work together to improve diagnosis and treatment and, where possible, look at ways to prevent cancer in dogs. Research continues into five of the most common malignant cancers in dogs to gain a better understanding of how they develop, spread and respond to treatment.
