Story

بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيم

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

This Ramadan at the IICC, we want to focus on gratitude and giving back to the community. Give the gift of life to families struggling in Afghanistan because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Sponsor a Food & Essentials Pack today and give them hope for tomorrow.

By sponsoring one food pack for just £100, you can sustain a family of 5 for a whole month. These packages will include items such as flour, rice, oil, salt, tinned tomatoes, beans soap, tea and sugar. We will also be using donations to provide certain families who display the need for other essential items such as bread, baby food/milk, baby nappies and so on.

While we may not be in the mosque celebrating the blessed month of Ramadan together, we encourage you all to continue celebrating the meaning of Ramadan and give generously towards this cause. If you would have normally sponsored an iftar at the mosque, why not sponsor one or more of these packages? If your need to pay your Zakat, why not sponsor one or more of these packages? You can raise money as a family or as a community and donate towards this beautiful cause inshaAllah.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said;

Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status.
