Having been to Ethiopia with VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) for two years, I am now back in the UK and my plan is to use my experience to educate about Ethiopia and the developing world. I am visiting schools and local groups and developing a resource website about ethiopia with videos, virtual tour and more.

If anyone has enjoyed my visits or website, it would be great if you would make a donation to VSO to help them continue to send volunteers to help "share skills and change lives."

I still believe that VSO's method to send people to work in countries to really find out what is needed, then training local people to continue the work after the volunteer leaves is much more effective and long-lasting than just sending a computer, pile or books or money direct to a country which could end up anywhere and with anyone.
