Just about half-past ten, for the first time in history...Adam Hinds and Nicola Bishop are running the 2019 Brighton Marathon in April and raising money for Jigsaw (south-east).

Jigsaw (South East) offers grief support to children and young adults who have experienced the death of a significant family member through illness, accident, suicide or murder. In partnership with Macmillan, it also provides support to children and young people who have a family member with a life-limiting condition. The charity works throughout Surrey and surrounding areas. Referrals can be made directly by families or via health and social services.

The charity is very close to Steve's heart as wife Jennie is the charity's Family Support Manager. Previously working as a research midwife at St Thomas’ Hospital London, Jennie has worked in community settings and provided caseload care. This gave her the privileged opportunity to work with families during a significant life event which is usually one of joy and excitement. On the other hand, when things don’t go well, the emotional impact on the whole family can be devastating. 

Coming into contact with the charity whilst seeking support and advice for her own family, she is now honoured to work with such a fabulous team and to be part of such a valuable service.
