Story
Today the 29th August marks a year since my fall from the sky.
I have been paragliding for the past ten year, and thought I had got the hang of it. Clearly not!!!
I owe my life initially to two friends on the ground, and also the NCCU ward in Cambridge.
But it would have been a different story without the air ambulance who supported the emergency services on the ground. Together they worked on me for nearly two hours preparing me for my flight to Cambridge.
It has been a long hard year for me and not the best for those working with me or trying to help me, unfortunately some had to do both!
The some 70ft fall resulted in 36 fractures, and a 17 night stay in the NCCU ward at Addenbrooke's followed by a number of weeks on various different wards.
The air ambulance is funded largely through charitable contributions, and I am certainty indebted to them, and to this end have set up this page and hope you are able to support me with a donation to a very worthy cause.
