Welcome to my page for our charity event on Friday 12th June.

Back in October 2013 I decided to create a bucket list. On my bucket list was to create a big charity event night raising as much money for children with cancer. It is a goal of mine to do this and I have decided to take on the challenge this year.

As you all may know I have taught for nearly 10 years now helping and developing children with their sports and this is a big opportunity for me to help children that have suffered throughout their life but also to help children develop in their football at AFC Totton in the community.

My charity night is on Friday 12th June at 7:30pm at The Testwood Stadium. It is £20 a ticket which includes Food, Music, Raffles, Auctions and Evening Entertainment. We are raising money for both The Piam Brown Ward and for new equipment at AFC Totton in the community.

I was very kindly invited to go and visit The Piam Brown Ward a few months ago and it was very eye opening for me. I was shown around the Ward and the children's facilities and there is a lot of help they need. I was shown where the families stayed when the children had treatment. The Piam Brown Ward was built in the 1980's and yet the kitchen facilities are still in the same way as back then. The washing machine was not in working condition. 

There are only 10 beds at the ward which means 10 families potentially could be living there at a time using this 1 kitchen, 1 lounge and a broken washing machine.

As you maybe aware I have also taken over AFC Totton in the community. We are currently starting up Academy & Development teams finding the best local talent in the area. We want to help them develop by helping them have the best equipment we can get.

We are splitting the money raised in half for both causes. We need as much help as we can to raise money for these causes.
