Myself (Chloe) and mum (Alison) attended the Ariana Grande concert last May. We were very closely involved in the attack, but thankfully uninjured although saw the full affect and aftermath of the cowardly act. We both have been extremely affected over the past year and struggled with coming to terms with everything we saw that night. A year on, we have chosen to pick ourselves back up and show the world we are strong and this attack has only made us into kinder, happier, more resilient people. My boyfriend (Lewis), although wasn’t there on the night saw the full affect it had on us both, seeing the worst of the lows and the best of the highs over the year. He has been an incredible support and again he is standing (or running) alongside us to help raise money for the incredible cause.
