Inspired by my good lady wife, who cut off a lot of her hair in aid of Little  Princess and raised over £700 for NICU Blood Bikes, I plan to shave off my beard in aid of the Welsh Refugee Council.  Now, I'm aware, shaving off my beard is hardly a hardship, but still:

• I've consistently had a beard for over two years
• This means some people have never seen me without a beard - this is their chance, think about these poor people
• I'm not sure what my chin looks like anymore.  There could be anything under there.  ANYTHING.

HOWEVER - I understand people might want me to keep my beard, luscious as it is, so when you donate, leave a comment saying SHAVE or BEARD, and we can have a competition between the Shaviours and the Beard-lievers.

Ultimately, it is of course a chance to give money to a great cause, at a time when the refugee crisis is worse than ever.  I personally believe in welcoming refugees to Wales, so the work the Welsh Refugee Council are doing is invaluable.
