Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am writing a novel in 30 days as part of the National Novel Writing Month challenge in memory of my friend Deanna Seddon (nee McNicholas) who passed away earlier this year aged just 42.

Wigan and Leigh hospice took marvellous palliative care of her during the last weeks and months of her life, improving her life-quality via physical and emotional support and helping her friends and family through this difficult period.

All their care is provided for free and they rely on charitable donations in order to function.

I am writing a novel during the 30 days of November in support of the wonderful work of Wigan and Leigh hospice.

50,000 words in 30 days is 1,667 words per day, which will mean the quality of writing may not quite hit that of William Shakespeare, but I hope you will encourage me with a few donations to this worthy cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
