ChildLine

ChildLine is the UK's free and confidential, 24 hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise, support and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common problems are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy. Children and young people can call ChildLine about anything – no problem is too big or too small. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC

Charity Registration No. 216401 and SC037717

Story

The Event

In support of the amazing work of ChildLine, Alan, James and Robbi are putting on a fantastic Garden Party on June 22nd. With live music, fun-packed activities, an amazing charity auction all with great food and refreshments throughout the day, the event promises to be a day to remember!

Back Story

We’re raising funds through Childline Rocks, an independent voluntary board established to raise money through 'live music and other shenanigans’ for Childline NSPCC. The ‘Other Shenanigans’ this year includes a 2000 mile charity road trip across the hot deserts of California. Our eclectic gang of riders will be passing through the scorching Mojave desert where they leave aeroplanes to die!, riding from San Diego across the barren lands of Joshua Tree, along the hills of the Sequoia National Forest, with stunning views but also sheer drops! The trip will end with a fundraising rock gig from classic British rock band, Thunder!
