14 years ago, my wonderful mum was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. After a year of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgeries, she was given the all-clear. Since 2006, she has been diagnosed twice more and is currently starting a new cycle of chemotherapy treatment.

It never gets easier and the feeling of helplessness never truly goes away, but in raising this money, I’m hoping we can aid Macmillan in their goal to provide physical, financial and emotional support and to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, as they have for my amazingly strong Mum and so many others.

The Bull, Westfield, will be hosting a day of fun and events on 26th October, where I will be #BravingTheShave, with all the proceeds going to Macmillan and the hair donated to The Little Princess Trust. There will be a raffle taking place on the day with some amazing prizes up for grabs!
