Story
Hi my name's Alex, I'm 19 years old and this is my story. At the age of 12 I was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. After 3 1/2 years of chemotherapy I lived a normal teenagers life achieving my exams and gaining entry to study nursing at Birmingham University for Sept 2014. However, on the 22/08/14 I relapsed to the Leukaemia! After 7 gruelling weeks of chemotherapy, the chemo failed to work. The doctors have said it's incurable, and I only have weeks to live.
The rapid progress of the disease hasn't given me time to fundraise like the inspirational teenager 'Stephen Sutton' but I'm asking you all to do this for me. Although I appreciate what the charity TCT have done for me over the past weeks my chosen charity is Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research as this charity needs every penny to carry on with the outstanding work to ensure blood cancer no longer devastates families like mine. So please dig-deep, be generous and donate or fundraise, thank you!
