Story
At 8am this Saturday, we will break free from the shackles of higher education. In order to secure our freedom, we must escape London and get as far away from UCL as possible, all without spending any money. In the 36 hours that follow, we will rely on nothing but the kindness and sympathy of strangers to help us distance ourselves from the tyranny from whence we came.
As well as securing our freedom, we are raising money for two fantastic charities: Sickle Cell Society and Phab (info below). 100% of your donations will go to Phab and Sickle Cell Society. You can either make a one-time donation on this page, or if you want to bet on us (or against us!) and donate per mile just let us know and we'll add it to our spreadsheet. We'll make sure to let you all know how far we get on Sunday at 8pm!
PHAB supports children and young adults with disabilities to break down community barriers, reduce social isolation and create opportunities for disabled people to enjoy the same activities and challenges alongside those without a disability
Sickle Cell Society aims to provide the much needed support and research to sufferers and educate health carers and professionals about the condition
