The Harbour is delighted that Alex and Michael have chosen to support our work in celebration of their marriage. 

The Harbour is a Bristol charity which is here to provide counselling for people who are impacted by life-threatening illness.  We support those who are ill, their carers, loved ones and those who have been bereaved through illness.  We work with individuals, couples, families and also through group therapy.  Last year we supported 263 people, providing 2,344 sessions of counselling.  Our team of psychotherapists have specialist training and support so that they can help people with the deep and painful issues associated with illness and loss.

All of our services are provided completely free of charge because we know that when families are hit by a life-threatening crisis money is frequently a worry for them.  This means that we rely on gifts and grants for the majority of our income. Every donation we receive helps us to provide more support and reach a greater number of people in need: we are so grateful to Alex and Michael, their friends and family, for supporting us.
