Foal Farm

Foal Farm's aim is to take in as many sick, distressed and unwanted animals as possible and restore them to health and happiness. No healthy animal is ever destroyed, and if no home can be found the animal becomes a resident of Foal Farm for the rest of its life.

Story

Alfie is a 6 month old Springer Spaniel. He is a bundle of fun and loves to play!

Unfortunately, poor Alfie was involved in a road traffic accident. His previous owners could not afford the staggering vet bills, therefore he has found refuge at Foal Farm.

Due to his injuries, Alfie requires arthoplasty surgery to reconstruct his spine. He is currently walking with the aid of a sling and is spending the majority of his time resting in his crate. Of course he cannot go on living in this state, as he cannot run and play as he wishes.

We are eager to get Alfie back on his feet so that he can run, play and walk independently. Due to his age he is full of energy and despite his major injury, his bubbly nature is shining through.

Alfie will visit our vet this week to undergo surgery. Such major operations are costly and we are therefore appealing for funds to contribute towards Alfie's surgery and recovery.

Even a donation of £5.00 can make a difference! Let's get little Alfie back on his feet.
