Over 83,000 young people are experiencing homelessness right now. Violence, abuse, neglect and problems with mental health - young people often become homeless because it's safer to leave home than to stay.
I firmly believe having the security of a roof over young peoples heads is a critical step to someones livelihood - something too many of us take for granted. End Youth Homelessness (EYH) is a coalition of charities that provide safe and stable places for over 26,000 young people to live across the UK.
I am privileged to be a non executive director at Yorkshire Building Society. Colleagues have chosen to support End Youth Homelessness in developing a programme that gets young people into a safe home. For every £1,000 raised another young person is able to be placed in a home. Any amount you donate will help make a difference to youth homelessness and help them have a safe and positive start to exploring their journey in life.
Thanks for your generous support.
