In  October 2019 a tumour was found in my left kidney after I was scanned for suspected kidney stones. The following month I had surgery to remove my kidney and was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Chromophobe Renal Cell Carcinoma. Fortunately there was no sign of the cancer having spread, and no other treatment was needed. 

I am on the road to recovery and planning to walk around the entire Cornish Coastline to raise awareness and funds  for Kidney Cancer UK.
