In what may be an act of stupidity, I will be taking on Lands End to John O'Groats in 2018.

My bike and my little legs will be working hard, up and down hills, for 1,050 miles - cycling back-to-back days for two weeks.

But it will all be worth it for a very worthwhile cause - the Teenage Cancer Trust. They do an incredible job supporting young people who are diagnosed with cancer and are the only charity dedicated to looking after this age group.

I am covering the cost of the ride (such as accommodation and technical support) myself so that all donations can go directly to the charity.

I hope you're able to spare a few pennies (or, better still, a few pounds). Your donations will not only help the Teenage Cancer Trust but will spur me on with my training - I can't very well pull out when you've been so kind. I'm all in now!

As I'll be doing 1,050 miles, I'd like to double that with a fundraising target of £2,100.
