My company, All Rounder Cricket Ltd is aiming to raise £15,000 to support self-funded charity, Martin House Children’s Hospice in Yorkshire.

With the continued growth of the company and the increased interaction with our customers I felt a sense of responsibility towards supporting the local community, in particular a children's charity. After learning about the amazing work done by Martin House Children's Hospice the decision was made very quickly to dedicate any fundraising we could achieve to them. The Hospice is based locally here in Yorkshire and provides access to the best possible end of life care for children and young people, along with their families, with life-limiting conditions.

The money we raise will provide essential support and help for children with life-limiting conditions. Martin House must raise £6 million per annum, mainly through fundraising, to care and support for their children, young people and families. £15,000 will provide 24 hours of care for all children in the hospice and every single penny we raise will go to Martin House.

We have various initiatives organised for 2017 with perhaps the most anticipated being our Social Media competition launched by West Indies cricket star, Chris Gayle. The competition has a star prize of an all-expenses paid trip to the Caribbean to see Chris play and will be launched on Facebook in the coming fortnight. We hope that every participant on social media will make a £5 donation to this page. We are also hopeful that some of the children at Martin House will enter and enjoy playing cricket as part of the challenge.

I would like to personally urge my employees, suppliers, customers and acquaintances to donate to our Martin House page and enable them to maintain self-funding the amazing care and support they provide for the children and families at their Hospice in Yorkshire.

All Rounder Cricket will donate 10% of the final sum raised to help increase the fundraising drive and the level of support we can offer Martin House Children's Hospice.
