Our Son Arlo was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 6 months ago. Everyday Arlo has to deal with finding his new normal as he learns to inject himself, work out carbs and learn to live with Type 1 diabetes. Those that know Arlo know what a battle this is and how hard it can be but also how brave and amazing our boy is - he inspires us all every day. Arlo will have type 1 diabetes for the rest of his life and will need insulin injection every day to keep him alive.

JRDF are a charity whose aim is to find a cure for type 1 diabetes. We hope that this happens in Arlo's lifetime.

For Arlo we are running to find a cure for type 1 diabetes. In the hope that Arlo and everyone other child out there with type 1 can say goodbye to this horrible condition.
