If you don't know me and see me walking you could be forgiven for thinking I'd had one Gin too many. Sadly that's not the case... it is actually about my Multiple Sclerosis  

Hello, my name is Amanda and I live with MS. I regularly visit The Merlin MS Centre in Cornwall to use the wide range of health and well-being facilities on offer to many people suffering from this debilitating condition as well as other neurological illnesses. 

I now volunteer for the centre and you can see me in action every Thursday covering reception duties. This is something I find both enjoyable and rewarding. 

Mike, who is also a trustee for the charity,  7 years ago purchased a Stanley  Steam car and together we decided to set ourselves a challenge which involves his beloved car. 

We will be driving Stanley from John O'groats to Lands End a distance of approx 850 miles. We will be tootling along at around 30-40 miles an hour in this beautiful car, incidentally, the only one in the UK. 

Along the way we will visit other centres to raise not only awareness, but also a bit of money too. All funds raised will go the The Merlin MS Centre to maintain support for those with MS and other neurological illnesses.
