When Wishes for Kids offered me a place to run the Great North in 2013, I hadn't ever done a half marathon, I was a little worried and nervous about taking on a challenge so I didn't take up the offer.  

The charity did get me thinking about if I could run a half and I did Leicester Half that same year.  A Half that was more low key felt like something I could do and I still ran for Wishes for Kids.

I've now run a few more half marathons I feel ready to take on Great North, one of the most iconic half marathons.

Sadly for the Charity this race along with many races has been postponed, so I thought I would set up my page now to support the charity until the event next September.
