This is my 50th year, so I am certainly not getting any younger!!  To mark this milestone in my life  I have decided to run the London Marathon and as this will perhaps be the one and only time I will run London I wanted to raise money for a worthy cause.
When you search for charity places in the London Marathon there are so many charities looking to raise funds from this  popular race including the well known National charities with big names, so I decided to raise money for a charity which perhaps hasn’t got the same recognition as others but provides an equally important and vital service to people and their families suffering from Cancer.
I chose Harbour Cancer Support, which offers not only support to the cancer patient but also their families.  Harbour provides practical and emotional support to anyone affected by Cancer and it is a completely independent Charity and therefore a very worthy cause.
I really want to make by 50th year memorable and I hope you will help me on my mission to raise funds, I am hoping to raise £1200 and would be extremely grateful for any donation, no matter how small, that you can spare.
