I’m on a mission to raise £1000 for the PBC Foundation by
the end of June this year – Please help me by sponsoring anything you can!
I’ve set myself two pretty massive challenges for the next few months. Firstly, I’ll be attempting the Isle of Wight Challenge, which involves walking 65 miles CONTINUOUSLY in under 34 hours through day and night from 30th April – 1st May. Secondly I’m swimming 25 kms (1000 lengths of a pool) over two consecutive days, with an estimated swim time of 17 hours on 8th and 9th June.
Every penny raised is going directly to the PBC foundation which is an incredible cause. As well as having the long term goal of finding a cause/cure for this illness they also provide invaluable support for suffers and their families (including mine). They have helplines, support groups, educational newsletters and are working towards educating doctors about the disease so more people can receive accurate diagnosis and can start getting the support they so desperately need whilst dealing with such horrific symptoms. Even if you can’t donate right now, please do all you can to share and spread the awareness.
